Jesus tells a story about showing mercy to a stranger who needed help.

The story in Scripture

A traveler was attacked and left injured beside the road. Several people passed without helping. A Samaritan stopped, cared for the man, and paid for his recovery. Jesus taught that the Samaritan acted like a true neighbor.

Read it together in your Bible: Luke 10:25–37.
