1. Who We Are

Kadosh Games, Inc. ("Kadosh Games," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Kadosh.fun website, games, resource library, and Parent Portal (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when your family uses the Service. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.

2. Children's Privacy

Kadosh Games is built for children ages 4–12, and we take children's privacy seriously. Children never create their own accounts. A Parent, guardian, or educator ("Parent") creates and controls the account and adds a profile for each child. Every detail on a child's profile is provided by the Parent, at the Parent's discretion; the profile form asks for a nickname and first name, and every other field is optional. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without a Parent first creating that child's profile through the Parent's own account.

Children use the Service in Kids Mode, which runs inside the Parent's account and is locked with the Parent's PIN or password. Kids Mode records the child's activity (described in Section 3) solely to operate the games and to report the child's progress to the Parent.

This means the Parent is always the point of contact and control for any information associated with a child profile — including the right to review, edit, or delete it (see "Parental Rights" below).

What we never do with children's information. We do not:

  • show advertising to children or use third-party advertising or tracking tools;
  • sell, rent, or trade any personal information;
  • use a child's information to build a profile for marketing purposes;
  • make a child's information or activity visible to other users; or
  • provide children with any forum, chat, messaging, or other means of contacting other users. The Parents Community is available to Parents only.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Parent account information: name, email address, and password; and, as provided at registration or in Parent Settings, mailing address, phone number, birthday, and how you heard about us.
  • Child profile information (provided by the Parent): nickname and first name, and, at the Parent's option, birthday, grade level, state, a profile picture (one of our preset avatars or a photo the Parent uploads), learning goals, focus areas, learning styles or accommodations, how the family heard about us, reason for joining, a parent phone number, and private notes.
  • Kids Mode activity: games played, scores, stars and tokens earned, answers to quiz and game questions, stories read, playtime, and the results of quizzes and assignments. This information is used only to operate the Service and to show the Parent the child's progress, grades, and attendance records.
  • Work a child submits: where a Parent's assignment requests it, a short written response or a photo of completed work. Submitted work is visible only to the Parent. We recommend that photos show the schoolwork only and not a child's face.
  • Parents Community content: posts, replies, and ratings a Parent publishes, which are visible to other signed-in Parents.
  • Usage data: pages visited, games played, and general device/browser information, used to keep the Service working reliably and to improve it.
  • Form submissions: information you provide through our Contact, Volunteer, Resource Request, or Newsletter forms (such as name, email, phone, and message content).
  • Payment information: Game Pass payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not receive or store full card numbers. We retain your subscription status and billing history. Stripe's handling of payment information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party AI Partners: Google Gemini & Puter.com

Our Homework Scan tool, available on all plans, reads a photo of a worksheet and turns it into questions for our games. The photo you upload is saved to your Kadosh account so you can review and edit what was read. To read it and write the questions, Homework Scan uses up to three helpers, in this order:

1. Google Gemini (first choice). Our servers send the worksheet photo, and the text read from it, to Google's Gemini AI service. Parents do not need a Google account for this. We currently use Gemini's free service tier. Under Google's terms for that tier, Google may use the content we send to provide and improve its products, and trained reviewers at Google may read it. Google's handling of this content is governed by the Gemini API Terms and Google's Privacy Policy.

2. Puter.com (backup). If Gemini is unavailable, your web browser sends the worksheet directly to Puter.com, an independent AI service, which relays it to an underlying AI model provider. Puter may ask you to sign in to a free Puter account. This exchange is governed by Puter.com's Privacy Policy. Certain admin content tools also use Puter.

3. On your own device (last resort). If neither service can help, your browser reads the printed text itself using text-recognition software we host. Nothing is sent to a third party in this step.

Because AI services may keep or review what they receive, please do not include sensitive personal information, such as a child's full name, home address, phone number, or photos of faces, in worksheets you scan. Crop the photo to just the schoolwork when you can.

5. How We Use Information

  • To operate and personalize the Service, including saving child progress and unlocking age-appropriate content;
  • To show Parents their child's progress, grades, and attendance records;
  • To send Parents reminders, results, and progress notices, each of which can be turned off in Parent Settings;
  • To process Game Pass subscriptions and payments;
  • To communicate with Parents about their account, updates, and (if opted in) our newsletter;
  • To respond to contact, volunteer, and resource-request submissions;
  • To keep the Service safe, secure, and appropriate for children;
  • To understand aggregate usage trends so we can improve games and resources.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We only share information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service, under obligations to protect the information and use it only to provide their services to us: Hostinger (website hosting and email delivery), Stripe (payment processing), and, for AI-assisted features, Google Gemini and Puter.com as described above;
  • Authorities, where required by law, to protect the safety of a child or the integrity of the Service;
  • A successor organization, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization of Kadosh Games, Inc. — subject to the same privacy commitments described here.

7. Data Retention & Security

We retain account and child profile information for as long as the account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Parental Rights

Parents may, at any time, review, correct, export, or request deletion of their own account or any child profile they manage, and may withdraw consent to further collection of a child's information by deleting that child's profile. Most of this can be done directly from the Parent Dashboard. For anything else — including a full data deletion request — email legal@kadosh.fun and we will respond promptly.

9. Cookies & Session Data

We use essential cookies and session data to keep you signed in, remember which child profile is active in "child mode," and protect the Service from abuse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service grows. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
