1. Who We Are
Kadosh Games, Inc. ("Kadosh Games," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Kadosh.fun website, games, resource library, and Parent Portal (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when your family uses the Service. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
2. Children's Privacy
Kadosh Games is built for children ages 4–12, and we take children's privacy seriously. Children never create their own accounts. A Parent, guardian, or educator creates and controls the account, and adds a "child profile" for each child (a nickname, grade level, and in-app progress information) entirely at the Parent's discretion and under the Parent's supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without a Parent first creating that child's profile through the Parent's own account.
This means the Parent is always the point of contact and control for any information associated with a child profile — including the right to review, edit, or delete it (see "Parental Rights" below).
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Parent account information: name, email address, and password when you register.
- Child profile information: nickname, grade level, and in-app activity such as game progress, stars/tokens earned, playtime, reading logs, and quiz results — all entered or generated under the Parent's account.
- Usage data: pages visited, games played, and general device/browser information, used to keep the Service working reliably and to improve it.
- Form submissions: information you provide through our Contact, Volunteer, Resource Request, or Newsletter forms (such as name, email, phone, and message content).
- Payment information: paid billing is not yet active on the Service. If and when it is enabled, payments will be processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider, and Kadosh Games will not store full card numbers on our own servers.
4. Third-Party AI Partner: Puter.com
Bible Buddy (available on Premium Family plans), our AI Family Coach, and certain admin content tools are powered by Puter.com, an independent third-party AI service. These features run directly in your web browser and send the message you type straight to Puter's infrastructure — which in turn relays it to an underlying AI model provider — to generate a response. This does not pass through, or get stored on, Kadosh Games' own servers.
Because this exchange happens directly between your browser and Puter, it is also governed by Puter.com's own Privacy Policy, available at puter.com/privacy. We encourage families not to share sensitive personal information (like a home address, phone number, or last name) in any AI chat feature.
5. How We Use Information
- To operate and personalize the Service, including saving child progress and unlocking age-appropriate content;
- To communicate with Parents about their account, updates, and (if opted in) our newsletter;
- To respond to contact, volunteer, and resource-request submissions;
- To keep the Service safe, secure, and appropriate for children;
- To understand aggregate usage trends so we can improve games and resources.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We only share information with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting infrastructure and, for AI-assisted features, Puter.com as described above);
- Authorities, where required by law, to protect the safety of a child or the integrity of the Service;
- A successor organization, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization of Kadosh Games, Inc. — subject to the same privacy commitments described here.
7. Data Retention & Security
We retain account and child profile information for as long as the account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Parental Rights
Parents may, at any time, review, correct, export, or request deletion of their own account or any child profile they manage. Most of this can be done directly from the Parent Dashboard. For anything else — including a full data deletion request — email legal@kadosh.fun and we will respond promptly.
9. Cookies & Session Data
We use essential cookies and session data to keep you signed in, remember which child profile is active in "child mode," and protect the Service from abuse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service grows. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
